ZT Automotive Group Website Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2025

Who we are. ZT Automotive Group is a network of dealerships owned by affiliates and subsidiaries of ZT Motors Holding, LP, a Texas limited partnership. “ZT Automotive,” “we,” and “our” mean those entities.

Scope. This policy explains how our websites and online services collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information. It does not cover in‑store collection or the third‑party finance application websites we link to. For financing, see the privacy policy posted on the finance application site.

What we collect on this site

We collect the types of information you’d expect on a dealership website:

  • Identifiers and contact details such as name, email, phone, postal address.
  • Vehicle and ownership info that you submit, including make, model, VIN, mileage, photos, service preferences, and comments.
  • Online activity and device data such as IP address, cookie IDs, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Location services if you allow your browser or device to share it for “find a dealership” or directions.
  • Communications such as texts, calls, emails, and webform submissions with our stores.

We do not collect financial account numbers or Social Security numbers on this site. If you choose to apply for financing, you will be sent to a different website that has its own privacy notice.

How we use information

  • To operate the websites, respond to inquiries, schedule service, provide trade‑in valuations, and manage test‑drive or appointment requests.
  • To secure our sites, prevent fraud, and fix errors.
  • To measure site performance and improve inventory merchandising.
  • Advertising and analytics. We use cookies and similar technologies to measure traffic and show ads that may be more relevant to you. Texans can opt out of targeted advertising as explained below. If you turn on a universal opt‑out signal in your browser, we process it for Texas residents.

Disclosures of information

We disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers who host the site, provide analytics, security, customer support, call or text platforms, and other business services.
  • Advertising and analytics partners that help us measure and improve ads and site performance.
  • Affiliates within ZT Motors Holding, LP for internal operations.
  • Dealers you select when you submit a form or request service at a specific store.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect people, property, or our rights.

We do not sell personal data for money. We may process data for targeted advertising as described above. When we do, we clearly disclose how to opt out and honor Texas residents’ opt‑out choices, including browser‑based universal signals.

Sensitive and biometric data

We do not use this website to collect or sell sensitive personal data or biometric data. If that ever changes, we will first obtain consent and post the exact notices required by Texas law.

Cookies and controls

  • Manage cookies in your browser settings and on our Your Privacy Choices page.
  • If you enable a universal opt‑out signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as an opt‑out of targeted advertising for Texas residents. You can change that choice at any time.

Your privacy rights (Texas residents)

If you live in Texas, you can:

  • Ask whether we process your personal data and access it.
  • Ask us to correct inaccuracies.
  • Ask us to delete personal data.
  • Ask for a portable copy of the data you provided.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

How to submit a request. Use at least one of the methods below. We provide two methods, and we will authenticate your request:

  • Email: privacy@ztautogroup.com
  • Phone: 256-367-5324

We will respond within the timelines set by Texas law. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our response or emailing the address above with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will explain our decision within 60 days. If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to contact the Texas Attorney General to submit a complaint.

Legal basis and required content: Texas law requires privacy notices to include categories of data processed, purposes, how to exercise rights and appeal, categories of personal data shared, categories of third parties, and the methods to submit requests. It also requires clear disclosure and an opt‑out if we sell personal data or process it for targeted ads, and recognition of authorized‑agent and technology‑based opt‑outs.

Florida, Georgia, and Alabama notes

  • Florida. Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights applies mainly to very large platforms. If we become subject to it, we will update this notice accordingly.
  • Georgia and Alabama. No comprehensive consumer privacy statute is in effect as of the date above. We still follow this policy and the FTC Act’s prohibition on deceptive practices.

Children

Our websites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children on this site. If a feature is directed to children, we will follow COPPA’s parental‑consent rules.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes above, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes, then delete or deidentify it.

Third‑party finance sites and other links

If you click to apply for financing or visit a dealership’s separate site, you will be taken to a third‑party website that has its own privacy policy. Review it before you submit information.
